KATHERINE YOST Obituary
Age 62, formerly of Kennedy Township, on July 25 in Oldsmar, Florida. Kate is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, William Joseph Yost, Jr.; daughter of the late Henry and Anna Rose Thom; and sister of Mary Ellen; loving mother of William J., III (Helen) and Christopher (Stacie). She took great joy in spending time with her six grandchildren, Sarah, Hannah, Tina, William, Edward, and Marianna. A celebration of Kate's life is being planned for mid-September in Kennedy Township. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Suncoast Hospice Care Center North Pinellas, 164 West Lake Road, Palm Harbor, FL 34684, where she received wonderful care in her final days. Arrangements are being made by CURLEW HILLS MEMORY GARDENS, Palm Harbor, FL.

My deepest condolences to Kate's family.
Last time I talked with Kate it was through Skype. I was showing Kate my house and introduced her to my in-laws who were visiting us at the time. I loved that about Kate that she was always open to new things: people and technology alike. She was my first American co-worker who took me for lunch, my first American friend who invited me to her house. I am going to miss Kate a lot.

Bill and sons,
I am so sorry to hear of Kate's passing. I did get to speak with her several months ago. She said, she would call me back and never did. I thank God that I did have that one moment with her. We were very good friends in grade school. She was one of the loveliest people I knew. Those beautiful crystal blue eyes. We will be attending her service in September.

My heart goes out to her family. I worked with her for many years and we became fast friends. A fond memory is we shared the same birthday month so we went to lunch but just ate dessert. A big mistake but we laughed about it for years.
