I missed receiving Suanne's Christmas greetings and news of her family last year, 2013. When I didn't hear from her this year, I wondered . . . I am so sorry for your loss, Art. Suanne was a big sweetheart. I still remember her smile and the love she had for everyone. Suanne and I both met and carpooled together our first year of teaching. Kemp, TX. Boy, we had some stories to tell from that year! We traveled back to IA on breaks to visit our families. She attended my wedding in Nov. 2000, with her new husband, Art. I was so happy for her!! Heaven has one more angel to watch out for us. Condolences, Art, to you and your family.

I remember her reading 2 books called Snot Stew and Watchdog and the Coyotes to my 3rd grade class (3 years ago). She was my favorite teacher.

More than friends...Suanne and I attended school together from pre-school through graduation from high school, we grew up living a block apart, have played, laughed, cried, talked, confided in each other over the past 51 years.
Since our parents were best of friends, from an early age Suanne and I became more than friends. We share a forever bond of sisterhood by choice and through our committed friendship over the years. My dear life-long friend I will always have you in my heart and will miss you more than I can express in words. Thank you Art for loving and caring for my dear friend. Suanne was so thankful for the love extended to her from your family. Bless you all.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Suanne. I knew her back in Jr. High school at Berg. So nice and always a smile. She was a 9th grade cheerleader I looked up to when I was in 8th grade. I'm sure she was a great teacher too. My prayers are with your families.

There are those that you meet in life that you are so thankful you got the opportunity to meet them, even if was a brief time. Suanne was one that every time I saw her she had a smile for me and a sincere joy of heart that was so very refreshing.
