Kathleen Carol Brady Murray returned to her heavenly home on March 29, 2017 in Tyler after battling brain cancer. She was 73. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and gave her peace.

Kathleen was born on May 18, 1943 in Tyler to her parents, Jack and Florence Brady. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, TJC and Texas Tech University with a degree in Education. She taught 7th grade English. She married Wayne Murray on August 20, 1965. Kathleen and Wayne shared their life together for 51 years in Tyler. Kathleen and Wayne owned Brady's Flower Shop. Kathleen loved flowers, loved visiting with her customers and friends and had a passion for travel.

Kathleen was very involved in church activities. She was actively involved in Bible studies and Women's Group of Pine Springs Baptist Church and Pollard Methodist Church. She was involved in community activities like Junior League of Tyler, Women's Symphony League, Mildred Floyd Garden Club, and American Cancer Society-Cattle Baron's Gala.
