My heart ached when Irene called me on Sunday and told me that Kathy died. Words seem so inadequate but know that my heart is filled with love and sympathy for Pat and your whole family. Kathy was a vibrant, talented and caring woman. She has touched the lives of many people in her lifetime and will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her. Kathy was tiny but she was mighty! I remember one time that she was talking about how she was carded even in forties. I laughed so hard when she told me the story. I always wonder at what age they finally stopped carding her. She faced so many adversities in her life and triumphed over them all! I was blessed to call her cousin!

We are sorry we cannot attend the remembrance for Kathy. She will be missed by many blind and visually impaired as well as Lion's Camp friends. May God give you peace Pat. Ron and Jan Baer

To Kathy's family, I'm very sorry for your loss. I had the honor and the privilege to work with Kathy for many years, when I was a member of the VFA board. She never failed to make me smile, it was a pleasure to have known here. Eternal rest grant unto her, oh Lord - and peace to you in your time of loss.

On behalf of Vision Forward Association Board and Staff, sincere sympathy to Pat and family members. Kathy has left a legacy, and her good work and advocacy will benefit people who are blind and visually impaired for many years to come. She will be greatly missed.
