I am so sorry that this happened to such a wonderful person, as it came so soon. Uncle Ken, I will always be here for you no matter the task or the time, and it was Kathie's love that helped bring all of us closer together. I deeply regret not being able to make the service as I had scheduled a study abroad in France during the service. I wanted to let everyone know how much Kathie ment to my family and I. Her words of wisdom and big heart motivated me and made me a stronger person everytime I would see her. She will always hold a special place in our family's hearts! May God take care of her now, and we will all greatly miss our wonderful family member, Kathie.

Dear Ken and Megan~My thoughts and prayers have been with you during this difficult time. I will always keep in mind our last visit with Kathie over Easter up at Gay's and the joy she brought to the room just by being there. Kathie became such a special part of our family. How great to extend our family and share the holidays with Kathie, Megan and Chris. A friend once told me when people pass in and out of our lives, there is always a reason and heaven must be short on angels. These thoughts have always helped me through these difficult times in my life and I hope it does the same for you as well. Please know we are all here for support and strength, even a few hours away in Columbus.

Words cannot express how I feel about the death of my dear friend, Kathie. We have so many memories of family trips, holiday get togethers and times shared in laughter, tears and prayer! I take comfort knowing that she is at peace with Our Lord and Savior in His Heavenly Kingdom. I am reminded of the children's book "The Giving Tree" whenever I think of Kathie. She constantly gave of herself and had the ability and gift of making all feel welcome in her presence. She touched the lives of all she knew and left an imprint on our hearts to remain with us as precious memories. May the family draw strength from those memories knowing that a little piece of her remains forever. My thoughts and prayers are with Ken, Megan, her Dad, siblings, family members and all the friends who had the privelege of knowing her and loving her!
