Kathleen Day

She was my friend and lab partner at Georgia Tech. She would give me a ride back to the dorm while we lived on campus. She was kind and friendly and I was inspired by her countenance and love for the Lord. So sorry to hear about his yesterday. May your family be comforted by the Lord Jesus Christ in these difficult days. Praying for you all. Tom

Your loss is Heaven's gain, precious Family. I had the JOY of being Kathie's Sunday School teacher at Dunwoody Baptist Church. Even then, she lived out her Faith in JESUS CHRIST. My deepest sympathy to the Day family on the loss of Kathie. I especially keep Deen in my thoughts as she has lost a daughter she loved very much. And to Kathie's children. I am so sorry for your loss. Kathy was such a special light in this world. She worked with me as Board Chair at the Atlanta Preservation Center and I so admired her tremendous leadership qualities. My condolences to everyone in her beloved family.

Kathie was a strong and wonderful woman. So many amazing memories of growing up in Inman Park with Kathie and the whole family that will always be kept close to our hearts. We love you!

Once in a generation, an angel walks quietly among mortals, their grace inspiring us to be more than we thought possible. Kathy was an angel who walked among mortals and our world is lessened with our loss. May we live the example set by Kathy and may we walk knowing the warmth she shared, the constant smile. Kathie was a source of love, strength and encouragement for our family. She was always there for us and went the extra mile to be available to all. Her strong will and determination were a source of great value to all of our family. Her spirit of giving to all was shown in her life time and in her death. Kathie was an Angel that helped so many people in her life. She is a true inspiration to us all to step up and make a difference in this world.
I was blessed to grow up in Dunwoody with Kathie and Burke and spent time at their home with her family.
Kathie was always kind,caring and a true friend and we had fun cheerleading together.
Kathie will be missed and I send heartfelt codolences and love to her family and friends.
