Kathleen Marion Facas Rotan

Kathleen Marion Facas Rotan was born on June 8th, 1960 and passed away August 15th, 2025 at the age of 65. She passed away peacefully in her sleep. Kathleen was born in Norwich, Connecticut she was the daughter of Alfred Facas and Grace, Marion Pettigrew Facas.

Kathleen graduated from New London High School class of 1978. She then attended the New London School of Business and worked for the city of New London.

Kathleen moved to Texas and married her first husband Kenneth Paul Dunn. They had three beautiful children together.

Kathleen was a supervisor for the DMV in Texas and also worked at Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut.

She was an active member in her church and community. She also loved to crochet.

Kathleen is survived by her two daughters Melanie Goldie and her husband Michael of Cibolo, TX and their daughter Samantha; daughter Mallory Ebert, and her husband, Jason of Kaufman,Texas, and their children, Bailey and Addison.; Five sisters Cissy Kennedy of Ledyard, Connecticut; Ann Facas of Groton, Connecticut; Grace Facas Sulik and her husband Matthew Sulik of Voluntown, Connecticut; Lori Facas of Norwich, Connecticut; and sister Janna Facas of Connecticut. Five Brothers Paul Drosos of Texas; Alfred Facas of Norwich, Connecticut; Christopher Facas of Connecticut; Lawrence Facas of New London, Connecticut and Tony Facas and his wife Margie of Ladson, South Carolina. She was predeceased by her brother John Dorsos and beloved son Matthew Paul Dunn. She also had numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her.

Kathleen will be laid to rest next to her son Matthew in Ledyard, Connecticut burial will be at a later date.
