Kathleen "Kathe" Gass

Working with Kathe at Backus was a great privilege. She was a happy go lucky person,excellent listener and most of all a good person and friend.We had a lot of good laughs together. I will miss her.God Bless her family.

Sending Condolences to all Kathe's family.I remember the Special family when they lived on Harland Rd. Growing up. We were both from big families and our Mom Priscilla Kane was friends with Delores,we lived up the street on Sachem Plains.Kathe was a wonderful person and her bright light will live on in all her family and friends. I saw her a while ago and we had fun reminiscing about growing up in a large family. Heaven has a new Angel but she is gone too soon.

Girl Scouts, gymnastics, choir, our folk group Pulchra, cheerleading, we did a lot together! Always fun and full of life! I'm saddened to hear of her far too early death. My deepest sympathy to all of Kathe's family.

She was always a hilarious and friendly soul when visiting Eden in after school. I'm very sorry for your loss, Eden, Tara, and Steven.

Kathe was one of my dearest friends in elementary school, high school and college. I had the greatest respect for her. No one was brighter, more energetic and quicker in wit. I am deeply grieved to hear of her death. My condolences to her family. She was taken from you too soon.

I met Kathy at Arrow Paper & became work friends . I always remember her quiet demeanor, quick wit, her love of vintage and a smile that made every one smile back ! When she talked of Steve , Eden & Tara her eyes sparkled with joy & pride of all their accomplishments . She was so happy to be a gramma & have a grandson . I'm truly sorry for your loss
