Aunt Dede & Uncle Ralph opened their Staten Island home to me at 17 for my 1st "alone" trip.
Both are such gracious hosts. That visit began a love of their family as well as a city that has endured a lifetime. Over the years they have continued to show this amazing hospitality.
Bob and I will always remember the St. Patrick celebration dinners with Ralph´s special recipe for corned beef and cabbage and Kathleen's warm welcoming. We fondly remember many a time sitting around their dining room table laughing and connecting.
Grateful for you Kathi and Ralph.

Kathi, I'll always remember you for your graciousness and for the love you always showed for your family. Your excellent cooking, fun sense of humor, and lovely artwork made you a joy to be around. I'm glad I got to know you. You made our neighborhood a friendlier place to live.
