Kathleen Rose "Kathy" Maggelet (née Tamburello), age 76, passed away on April 12, 2025, in Clearwater, Florida.

Born on January 1, 1949 in Denver, Colorado, Kathy spent the majority of her life in Boston, Massachusetts, where she built a life rooted in family and resilience.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Kathy's legacy lives on through her children: sons Douglas Jones and John Michael Jones; daughters Rachel Backstrom and Angela Jones. Her love extended deeply into the next generations as well-she was a proud grandmother to John Dimond, McKenna Backstrom, John Michael Hickey, Martin Hickey, Maddox Jones, Chelsey Rose Jones,

Audriana Jones, Allen Jones, Cecil

Jones, Paije Jones and Autumn Jones.

Erik Taber and Scott Malloy. She was also blessed with many great-grandchildren. Kathy also had many nieces and nephews that she adored.

Kathy shared a close bond with her siblings throughout her life. She is remembered by her brothers Vincent Tamburello, Philip Tamburello; Randy Staples; sister Andrea Staples;

She now joins in rest her beloved daughter Melissa Bethoney; grandson Deryn Jones; parents; Patricia Staples and Christopher Tamburello; sisters Tina Staples, Pamela Tamburello; and brothers Lenny Tamburello, Clifford Lawless and Greg Staples.

May Kathleen's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
