Kathleen Mobley Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Oct. 11 to Oct. 12, 2022.
Kathy Mobley, 71, of Simsbury, beloved wife of the late John Scott Mobley passed away Monday, September 5th, 2022 after a second battle with cancer. Born in Idaho on 11/9/50, daughter of the late Ray and Ida Mae Lincoln, Kathy spent her life in service to others. She attended the University of Idaho where she became a proud lifelong member of the Delta Gamma sisterhood, like her mother before her. Before retiring she worked as a Registered Nurse with a true devotion towards helping the injured and the sick, especially amongst the elderly. She was survived by a son, David Mobley of Brooklyn, NY; a daughter, Sarah Zwack with her husband, Chris and soon to be born child of New Hartford, CT; her siblings Linda, Lance, and Steve Lincoln. She was predeceased by her brother Dave and her beloved husband. Her family plans to honor the passing of such a compassionate person with a private memorial.

I just learned today of the loss of Kathy. She was a wonderful friend in high school, roommate at ISU, and my maid of honor at my wedding. My husband and I were her Guinea pigs as she learned to give injections in her nursing program. She did great! We are so sad to learn of her passing. Karen(Baker) and Tom Andreason.
