Kathleen Ann Perkins, a beloved mother, friend, and pillar of her community, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on December 3, 1957, Kathleen was known for her kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends.
Kathleen is survived by her two cherished sons, Joshua Perkins and Brian Perkins, who were the light of her life. She dedicated her life to raising her sons, instilling in them the values of compassion, resilience, and integrity.
Throughout her life, Kathleen was a source of inspiration and support to many. Her warm smile, generous spirit, and boundless love touched the lives of everyone she met. She was a devoted member of her community, always ready to lend a helping hand and offer a listening ear.
Kathleen's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her kindness towards others, and her ability to find joy in the simple pleasures of life.
A celebration of Kathleen's life will be held on July 31st, 2024, at 03:00 PM at Griffin Mortuary Funeral Home & Chapel in Lubbock, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the local food bank, and the American Humane Society a cause she was passionate about supporting.
Kathleen Ann Perkins will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones. May she rest in peace.

She was the most special most amazing and genuine person I have ever known. She was there at my graduation when I was going to be alone. She truly was amazing, and her legacy will live on in all of us. She saved us. Thank you for sharing her with us. Her love has surrounded so my hearts and for that we thank her. I remember when i first met Kathleen we were desk buddies and I had asked if she could split a 10 so i could tip my delivery person. We were best friends from that day on. I was so sad when she moved but always kept her in our hearts. Our Condolences to the family.

I don't know how to put into words the loss our family has suffered but what i can say is that we loved her with our whole hearts and she loved us unconditionally.
