Kathleen was one of those wonderful people that if you are very, very lucky, you will meet in your life. I treasured our friendship and a catch up with her was always a highlight of any visit to Baltimore. I will really miss her wonderful spirit, kind words, wise advice, wit and humour. She was one in a million.

My thoughts go out to Genevieve, Sarah & Kathleen's extended family. I knew her fairly well, since I was a friend of Genevieve's in elementary school. I will always remember her and Dr. Polk's kindness when my father had heart surgery. They opened their home and hearts to my parent's and I.
They were truly wonderful people, who will be dearly missed.

I am proud to be counted among Kathleen's many friends. We met in New Hampshire and became friends on Cape Cod, a place that was special to Frank and Kathleen and, later, to their daughters. She brought a vibrant life to any setting. I'll treasure her memory.
With heartfelt sympathy to Sarah, Genevieve, and the family,

I worked with Kathleen for a while at T. Rowe Price, and remember her as a kind, smart and funny person. I used to tease her that she was always put together and she would laugh. We had some good times together. I'm saddened at her passing and send my sympathies and prayers to her family. She will be missed.

The world will not be as bright and happy a place without Kathleen. Her zest and joy, as reflected in her smile and distinctive laugh, were the "rising tide that lifts all boats." She is -- and will always be -- dearly missed. Sincere sympathy to her daughters, extended family, and even more extended network of friends.

Deepest sympathies. Kathleen was gracious, funny, smart and warm. When I tell people I learned to knit a T. Rowe Price they look puzzled. Kathleen taught me (as part of a program to donate hats to the NICU at Hopkins). She was so very patient. Kathleen will be remembered fondly.

Kathleen was my boss at T. Rowe Price ten years ago. She helped me and my line manager through some very troubled times and, despite the fact that we were in London and she was in the US, she was always there for us with a kind word and a smile. She was one of the most positive, caring people I have ever met. When my first child was born, she sent us 'Blueberries for Sal' which is still one of their favourite books. I will never forget her.

I knew Kathleen pretty well during my years as Cantor at St. Ignatius Church. I am just stunned by this loss.
She was such a lovely, kind, upbeat woman with a great sense of humor. I just remember her always smiling and laughing, and always with a word of encouragement.
I know she is greatly missed.

How to say in words the sadness of the loss of this extremely intellligent, warm, caring woman who was a true, active paticipant in life.... Kathleen did not sit on the sidelines. I did not know her well, but well enough to appreciate her strength, kindness and generosity. She doted on her children and grandchildren - the loves of her life. Caring thoughts go out to them.
