In memory of
Kathy Haas
September 21, 2024
My first memories of Kathy were in high school, 20 years ago and was surprised to meet up with her while she was a nurse, and I was a receptionist at the same hospital. We went to lunch together several times during that time. Then we got to know each other even better when we went on a cruise to the far east Caribbean with our high school and had so much fun! Two years ago, year we met as a group for lunch, helped plan our 50th class reunion together, went to a few parties afterwards and partied at social gatherings. Kathy was a wonderful person, always a good listener, conversationalist, and had a great sense of humor. She was caring and enjoyed life. I will miss her. RIP

I´ve known Kathy for many years. She always had comforting advise especially when it came to something medical. She had many friends and loved to have fun. The last cruise I was on my late husband and I spent some time with Kathy venturing into some of the ports, at the pool, or in the casino. Kathy you have so many people that will be missing you. I know you will be looking after many people now that you have your wings.

I met Kathy at the bus stop for summer school when we were 13. I was with Cindy Chovanec who lived by Kathy. They didn´t know each other at all but we became fast friends. I cannot tell you what a ride we´ve experienced together because it´s been 57 years of sharing life, laughter, love , boyfriends, dancing, partying, husbands, children, and grandkids! When we were teenagers I told her since we weren´t lookers we better work on our personalities. She loves to tell that story. Kathy has many friends but tons of girlfriends! Her birthday parties were legendary. She attracted anyone who wanted to have fun! Kathy taught me her fashion skills and helped me with my business. She was always professional and willing to help with her advice. Whether I wanted it or not? Ha ha I´ve got more stories to tell and some I shouldn´t! She was one of my best and oldest friends. We would fight like sisters too but we always loved and supported each other! You will be missed my friend! You were loved
