KATHLEEN BYRNES (RAHUBA)
Most beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017. Those of us who knew and loved her benefited from her humor and her counsel. She was never too busy to talk to her family and many friends who needed her help and guidance; never too tired to take her grandchildren on new and exciting adventures; no matter what challenges she may have faced, she always enjoyed a laugh and could find something positive in any situation. She was the heart of her family, a place people went for good food and great conversation. She leaves a void that can never be filled, and we will miss her every day of our lives. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of almost 30 years, Steven Tuckfelt; her children, John Demko (partner, Toni Morrison), Stacie Demko (partner, Tim McCann) and Jeremy Tuckfelt (wife, Alexis Tuckfelt); grandchildren, Miles Demko, Marley Tuckfelt and Ruth Tuckfelt; siblings, Bartley Rahuba, Mary Edna Rahuba and Bill Rahuba; and many many cousins and friends. Her love, spirit and generosity will live on in all of us. Per her request, there will be no service or public ceremony. In her memory, donations may be made to NARAL Pittsburgh, Planned Parenthood or Women's Health Organization. Arrangements were entrusted to the EDWARD P. KANAI FUNERAL HOME.

Oh my beautiful, funny, loving Kitty...I've just this minute learned you aren't here with us anymore. I just felt it and checked your Facebook page and found Stacie's message. I loved you like a sister, even all these years apart. So many wonderful memories of you, George, Stacie & Bill. I will love you always. My heart aches for your family...what a void you've left.

OH Kitty how welcoming you were to me when we were 15 yrs old. I not only had a cousin but a best friend. You opened a friendship that lasted 60 years. I have so many funny stories we shared. Thank you for your love, friendship. The last few years were many emails...you helped me through my losses and gave me strength when I needed someone to just tell me I was strong. I miss you already..I love you dear cousin, until we meet again...Marylou

STEVE, JEREMY, JOHN AND ALL WHO WERE FORTUNATE TO HAVE KNOWN OR BE A PART OF KITTY'S LIFE, MY CONDOLENCES FOR YOUR LOSS.
MY EARLIEST MEMORY OF THIS BEAUTIFUL AND WONDERFUL LADY WAS WHEN STEVE (HER FRIEND, AT THE TIME) NEGIOIATED TO GET A FULL SPARE ON THE CAR SHE WAS BUYING. KITTY WAS ALMOST RED WITH EMBARASSMENT WHILE LAUGHING. WHAT A SPECIAL PERSON, KITTY!
MAY THE WONDERFUL YEARS AND TIMES YOU ALL SHARED WITH HER, AND THE KNOWLEDGE THAT SHE HURTS NO MORE BE OF COMFORT.

I have fond memories of Kittie growing up with her brother Bart and will always remember her kindness and hospitality while staying with her and her family in Munhall, FL and WV in my younger days. Mine and my wife's condolences to her and her family!
