Kathi -I've always enjoyed hearing about your mom at our Wednesday night get togethers, and it is obvious that you respected and loved her so. She was fortunate to have had such a loving family. We are sorry for your loss. Joyce and Bob

Kathi--I was so sorry to hear about your Mother. I enjoyed hearing your stories about her. You were fortunate to have a long, close, loving relationship with her. Your good memories and your loving family will help get you through this sad time. I'm sorry I couldn't attend the service, but I'm sure it was beautiful. Your whole family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I came to know Mrs. Barrett and Dr. Barrett, through my wife, Joyce. Dr. and Mrs. Barrett treated me as though they had known me as long as they had known my wife. When gatherings arose that included my wife, they were always caring and thoughtful to included me. It was something to see my wifes face light up, in a visit with Mrs. Barrett. So much so, that it pleasured me too. True Class

When I think of Mrs. Barrett, I think of "GRACE". She was a mentor, and a friend to me. I'm better for having known her.

We have missed Mrs. Barrett walking the block in the neighborhood since she moved to Meadowmere so long ago. She was always pleasant and friendly and her courage will be forever inspirational. We enjoyed talking about gardening and her stories of "old times"; she had an unforgettable smile and sense of humor...an all around classy lady. Our sympathies to her family, and may your memories of her bring you peace, and thankfulness of a life well-lived.

The Barrett family has our deepest sympathies on the death of Mrs. Barrett. As a next-door neighbor for ten years, we have countless happy memories of both Dr. and Mrs. Barrett. She was one of the happiest, most fun and fascinating people we have ever met. We always kidded that she was my oldest son's best friend when he was just a tyke. We will always remember her with great affection. We pray that the love of God enfolds you during your difficult hours and helps you heal with the passage of time.

I am Laurie Hansen Brill, daughter of Ruth Hansen Berg, and niece of my beloved Aunt Kathryn. She created many memories for me early on, and she was truly blessed with a loving and quite prolific family, giving her grandchildren, greatgrandchildren; including a great-greatgrandbaby. I have lost count.

Her gentle passing marks the end of an era and I'm sure my mom Ruth, her only sister, met her at Heaven's Door, together with all the others who left us too soon, including my dad, Glenn Hansen and my brother, Brucie.

What a wonderful, deservedly long life. My sympathy for all of their entire family, friends and the countless number of lives she touched.

I remember transporting Mizti, her cat, to the car. Aunt Kathryn said, "be careful, she bites" ... I said no problem. Ten minutes later, I had Mitzi in her cage and put her in the back seat of my car. Pulling down the sleeves of my sweater to hide the bleeding scratches, she asked me "So how did it go?" I replied, no problem, Aunt Kathryn.
