Kathryn "Kitty" Branham

Kathryn "Kitty" Branham, 86, of Mt. Washington, died Friday at Baptist Hospital East. She was the former Kitty Armstrong, a native of Bullitt County and a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington, where she was a faithful member of the adult choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd "Hoss" Branham. She is survived by three sisters, Mildred McClure, Austine Jasper and Ersa Murphy; two brothers, Carl and Dean Armstrong; and a host of nieces and nephews, including Emily Rucker, Mary Lou Mason and Maurice Dean Jasper, who cared for her. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mt. Washington, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Memorial gifts may be made to her church.
