Kathy will be remembered as a delightful human being as well as an extremely talented artist. She emanated joy and light. We were friends at Sac State and I was waiting to be successful before I got back in touch. Don't wait - life is fleeting, so very precious!

She was not only a teacher, but a friend. I am going too miss her deeply.

We have such fond memories of gatherings at the Carlisle/Jarvis home. Kathy always made us feel welcome and made us laugh. She was a bright light in her family, her work and her community. May that light continue to be reflected in those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

Kathy's photography classmates at Sacramento City College are devastated by the loss of a vibrant spirit who left warmth and laughter in her wake wherever she went. Peace and love to her family, friends, and students.

As a student at the School of the Art Institute, I remember Kathy in several of my classes and the passion and vitality that she had. She was blessed with talent and a love for art. May her life and memory be an inspiration. Rest in peace.
