From the moment I met Kathy my life was better. She had the same impact on the lives of our members. Her Asset Based Thinking was not just optimism, but did "Change The Way We See Everything". We believe she is being rewarded with a place in heaven, plus will forever be remembered for her impactful message. I just learned this very sad news. I worked with Kathy at Peabody and she was such a remarkable, lovely and thoughtful woman. My deepest condolences to the family.

Like so many people said, I will never forget meeting Kathy. That sparkle and spirit. I immediately wanted to get to know her better. Kathy was a mentor, teacher, project partner, source of inspiration and friend. Her wisdom and words ring in my ear so often that it is like she is right there. I repeat them all the time. I know this is true for so many people. And, there are the little things... like the notes I have that she made while mapping out ideas for clients... one pencil drawn 4x4 grid after another... they're works of art. Truly. Her ideas were brilliant (she was a well) and her penmanship artful and perfect. The celebration of Kathy's impact (so well named) was beautiful. Phil Woodmore's musical direction gave us chills. Kathy's family shared stories that were so Kathy and gave us a glimpse into a side of Kathy that she cherished. John, what you shared of your relationship was not only moving but instructive... about a life well lived (and well loved). Judy and Peggy, the comments you shared were heart warming. I am sending my condolences to John, to Kathy's family, to her partners at TCI and to all who love Kathy.

I had the pleasure to work with Kathy at St. Louis University. She was such a glowing personality. So sad that someone so young and energetic left this life way too soon.

Kathy was a trailblazer and an inspiration to women. Peace to her family and friends during this difficult time.

I have learned so much about leadership, asset-based thinking and how to be a great executive coach. Kathy's legacy already has more than 1,000-points of light!!! Her funeral was a beautiful celebration of her life!

I am honored to have had work experiences with Kathy at St. Louis University Medical Center. I grew because of her support and passions for doing the right thing. John, my thoughts and payers are with you.

I've known Kathy since about 1980 when we were both psychologists working to build the roles of our field in health and health care. I imagine we would have disagreed about almost anything we discussed theoretically but none of that mattered -- her caring and light always shined and her devotion to making the world better was profound. She found her niche, embraced it, and set us all an example of living with purpose and joy.

Oh my God. I am reeling from the news of her death. My comfort in this moment lies in the memory of me calling her 3 mos ago-as I approached my 65th birthday to tell her.... That she was for me in this lifetime the person who had the biggest positive impact on my life. How grateful I am to have had that moment.

It's so hard to believe someone as passionate and so vibrant as Kathy has left us. Her passion to make a difference that she shared through her books and speaking made a difference. Kathy you are and will be missed. Beth Chesterton thank you for introducing me to Kathy.
