Kathryn Ell

Ell, Kathryn (Berdell) a long time resident of St. Charles, Mo. passed away peacefully at her recent residence in Phoenix, Arizona on March 26, 2015. She was born September 19, 1921 to Emil and Aurelia Weber in Portage des Sioux. Berdell is survived by her four sons, Edwin J. (Patricia); Terry S. (Suzanne); Robin M. (Dora); Thomas P. (Lisa); grandchildren, David Ell, Christina Ell Ridge, Angela (Ell) Isacksen, Stephen Ell, Katie (Ell) Rhodes, Amanda (Ell) Ewing, Seth Ell; great grandchildren, Ashley Ell, Joshua Ell, Teresa Ell, Emily Ridge, Barclay Ridge, Elizabeth Ann Ridge, Jake Isacksen; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 63 years Edwin J. Ell; her sister Kathleen Gentemann, brother Duval Weber and granddaughter, Emily Elizabeth Ell. Berdell graduated from St. Charles High School in 1939. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She dearly loved her sons, daughter-in-laws, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family vacations at the beach, playing cards and dominos with family and friends gave her a lot of pleasure. Her beautiful soul, giving heart and loving spirit, will live on through the lives she touched. Services: Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 25th at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in St. Charles followed by a memorial Mass. Interment will take place at St. Peter's Cemetery.
