Columbus,, Georgia- Mr. Cortenay Aldo Ashe, 51, of Columbus, GA passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at St. Francis Hosptial.
Funeral servcies will be noon Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Mother Mary Church in Phenix City, AL. Father Jerome Robinson will officiate. Visitation will be today from noon until 6 pm, according to Sconiers Funeral Home, 836 5th Ave. Columbus, GA
Mr. Ashe was born Janaury 29, 1964 in Columbus, GA to the parents of James H and Ethel Jones Ashe. He was a member of Mother Mary Church. Mr. Ashe was a 1981 graduate of Pacelli High School. He attended Savannah State College and Columbus State University. He was a body builder.
Survivors include his mother, Ethel Ashe, grandmother, Sarah Ashe, brother, Cedric Ashe, sister, Carol Ashe, two uncles, Willie F. (Frankie) Ashe and Booker (Diane) Jones, his great great aunt, Jamie L. Kennedy, nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Multiple Sclerosis Center, of Atlanta, GA, address, 3200 Downwoods Circle, Suite 350, Atlanta, GA 30327.
