Sweet Kathy, You brought so much joy, laughter and tears (from laughing so hard) to everyone around you. We all have a special place in our hearts and minds that will remember those times. I hope you are enjoying your "Rum, Rum, Rum" ;) You were a true testament of what fight and determination is all about. Much Love to you Kathy.

We are saddened to hear of Kathy's passing. She was such a testament to being a true fighter, giving her all. Life was not easy for her, yet she endured it anyway. In this, what an amazing gift she gave you all. May the memory of her smile warm you like the sun and enrich you all of your days.

Frank, Kristy and family.
When we loose a loved one our memories get us through the days to come. May you have comforting moments, many smiles and feel loved when you all sit and recall her smile, her wit, and remember her life. Since our families have met and spent many wonderful times together, I have certainly loved hearing her life stories. My heart goes out to your families. Love you all dearly, Pam Starky.

Frank, Kristy and family, Sue, and Hal, please know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you cope with the loss of your wife and best friend, mom and sister. Kathy showed her love for you and will for life every day over the last few years, and you all showed your love and appreciation for her in your enduring support. A true and inspiring example of what "family" is all about. You will now feel your extended family's warm embrace and compassion as you carry on.

Kathy, you have given us countless hours of love, joy, and laughter, and that is even after the Kathy most remember. We loved most your crooked smile and the way you were able to still recall all of the most heart felt memories.
Frank and Kristy...know that she will always be a part of your everyday and she has left a legacy in her amazing grandchildren.
We love you always...The Gerkens.
