Kathryn Murray Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Nov. 5 to Nov. 6, 2005.
KATHRYN HATHAWAY MURRAY, 69, passed away October 31, 2005. She was a kind and generous woman, loving mother and strong advocate for animal rights. She loved all creatures of this earth and leaves a legacy of compassion for all of God's creatures. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, John, who died five years ago. The family will have a private ceremony to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the animal-advocacy charity of your choice.

When I first met Mrs. Kathryn Murray she had a small blackbird on top of her head. My first thought was, "This is not something you see everyday, nor is this your typical person." I was completely right. Mrs. Murray was not your typical person. She was an extraordinary woman who I was very lucky to meet. I admired her compassion & love for all animals, so much that I had expressed to her one day that I hoped to be just like her in my elder age. The smile that would always light up her face whenever we would conversate about our animals or animals in general will never leave my mind. She was a beautiful & caring woman who will never be forgotten in my heart. I will miss our talks & seeing her with Rosebud & Blackjack. May she be happily reunited with her husband she missed so dearly & of course Barney.
