Kathy Marie Barron, passed away on October 10, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones in Independence, Missouri. She was born on April 7, 1972, in the same city she called home her entire life.

Kathy was a warm and bubbly person who had the best laugh you could ever imagine. She had an incredible knack for making people smile and loved nothing more than to have a great time. Her infectious laughter would light up any room she entered, and her joy was contagious.

Family meant everything to Kathy, and she loved her whole family with all of her heart. Her children, Donavan Barron and Austin Barron, were her biggest accomplishment in life. She poured all of her love into them and cherished every moment spent together.

Kathy's caring nature extended beyond her family. She had a drive to take care of others and a deep desire to help those around her. Known for being a strong fighter through life's struggles, Kathy faced challenges head-on with resilience and determination.

She graduated from Blue Springs High School and went on to further her education by attending college courses. Eventually, Kathy obtained her Dental Hygienist Certification from Concord. Her dedication to learning and bettering herself was admirable.

Outside of work and studies, Kathy had a passion for music of all genres. It brought her great joy and comfort, serving as a soundtrack to both the good times and the difficult moments in life. She also had a do-it-yourself spirit that led her to tackle various projects around the house, from drywall to flooring.

Kathy is survived by her sons; Donavan Barron, and Austin (Allison) Barron; dear family friend, Mina Wali; grandchildren, mother, Diana Kupka; father, Daniel Allen;  sister, Kelly (Russ) Hall; brother, Mark Allen, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her brother, David Allen.

Kathy will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her presence brought laughter, love, and light into so many lives. Her beautiful personality, both inside and out, left an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
