Kathy Berman

I was Kathy's best friend in High School. I would spend many days after school enjoying listening to Carole King Tapestry eating delicious chocolate chip cookies hot out of the oven.

I often envied her because her parents were a dashing younger couple-my parents were older and didn't have the same kind of energy to devote to me. Her mom was so Beautiful!

I picked her up for school many times. I remember the red convertible with the stick shift "three on the tree" that her brother drove.

We even went to college together, and were room mates our first semester-both of us wound up with single rooms after that!

I have fond memories of Kathy, and when my cousin told me of her untimely death I was saddened that I had lost touch with many of my classmates when I moved to Dallas.

I know she will be missed.
