Kathy Covey Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Kathy Lynn Covey, age 61, of Akron, on Friday, February 10, 2017.
She was born April 26, 1955 to Billie and Kathryn Young. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Kathryn and sister, Billie. She is survived by her father, Billie Young; loving sons, Matthew and James; daughter-in-law, Carolyn; granddaughters, Kaitlyn "Katie", Alicia, Natalie and Marissa; sisters, Linda (Jim) Leslie and Sandy (John) Clark. She had many nieces and nephews and was especially close to her niece, Tracy.
Family will welcome guests for a visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd., Akron. The family would like to thank the staff at Summit Villa and Aseracare Hospice for the care Kathy received.

Dearest Friend, Words could never explain what you meant to me. We shared many things in this life. Laughter, tears, fears and Joy. Yet the most priceless thing we shared was Christ. You will be apart of my soul forever. Dear Matt and James May Christ Comfort you in the loss of your Mother. Lynda and Sandy. My deepest Sympathy. Mr. Young may you be given peace in the days ahead.

Kathy I miss you already I come today to give you a kiss good bye until we see each other again but I wasn't able to please sandy and James give Kathy a hug and kiss from me I was her night time aide you met in Kathy's room god bless all of you sorry for our loss love you Kathy with all my heart. Aunt Kathy is one on the kindest sweetest people I have known. I have never seen her be mean in any way to anyone. I have so many memories from hair advice as a teen to laughing with my uncles and visiting in the nursing home. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. RIP Aunt Kathy
