Kathy Curtis

I am so sorry to hear this. I have lost touch with my Fluor family since I left in 2019, which I was working for Kathy in Lake Charles. I also worked for her on another project 2001 to 2003. Too many memories to pick between. She was an amazing person, great boss, and wonderful friend. My condolences to her family and all who knew her.

Spent many years at Fluor where I started in Document Control in 1995, where I met Kathy.

Kathy was my first lead at Fluor. I can honestly say that Fluor, without Kathy, would have not been the same. She left quite the legacy. God Be with her and her wonderful, rambunctious family.

My condolences to my dear friend, Andy and to Erin and Daniel.
Kathy was hired by Fluor about 6 months after I started. We were both so young...in our early 20´s! We became good friends because we were both small town girls. She was a joy to work with on projects. And we also played on the same softball team and enjoyed attending Astros games in the Astrodome. She leaves me with so many fun memories. Thanks for the memories, my friend, and rest in peace.

Met Kathy at a training course at the Fluor office in Sugarland. She was calm, cool and collected. I will fondly remember her trip to Calgary for our conference and the bus ride to Banff. She will be dearly missed.

My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I worked for/with Kathy years ago when she became the PDDM Manager and also got to know Erin. It was a pleasure working with Kathy, I don't remember ever seeing her angry. She always wore a smile and was such an encouraging and uplifting person to everyone around her. Praying God's peace over the family during this difficult time as she will be truly missed by many.

Over the years, Mike and I have done so many fun things with Kathy. There were pool parties, birthday parties, days at the beach, weddings, trips, card games, happy hours and a very memorable camping trip. Mike and I haven´t seen Kathy as much as we wanted since we all retired, but luckily we got to see her a couple of times in the last few weeks. We had no idea that would be the last time we would see her. She was a special friend that we loved dearly. We are going to miss her so, so much! Our love goes out to Andy, Erin and Daniel.

So unexpected! Kathy. Andy and I came into Fluor around the same time. We have many years of memories to share. I can't imagine the impact this is having on the family. Hopefully memories and time will heal the pain. I know ya'll are all proud of this lady. Kingfish, be there for your family! I am so sorry this has happened to ya'll. Shooo

I worked with Kathy for several years when we were both department managers. During my tenure with the company she was a great colleague to work with, I always appreciated her perspective on things, and her sense of humor was awesome. Sorry to hear of her passing and my heart goes out to Erin (who was part of my team) and the rest of the family.

Mike and I both joined Fluor in the 70's and worked thru the decades with Andy, Kathy, Daniel, and Erin- mostly me (Johnie). Kathy was great to work with and I enjoyed being in her group so much. Please accept our sincere condolences, prayers for comfort, and God's peace, especially difficult this time of year.

So sorry for your loss. I worked with Kathy for many years at Fluor. In our younger days we had fun playing softball together and may have shared a few beers while we were at it. You could always trust Kathy to be honest. I know she will be missed by many.

Loved working with Kathy and her husband, both were characters that made coming to work a joy! So Happy she made it to Ireland.

Growing up in St. John´s youth group, I remember Kathy as a ray of light and one of the coolest, nicest parents. I´m thankful that we had someone with her humor and kindness watching out for us. Much love and many condolences to her family and friends. She will be missed.

Growing up on Kearney St. next door to "Aunt" Kathy, I always knew I was welcomed. So many memories spent together growing up! You are deeply missed and loved.

My heart is absolutely broken at the loss of Big Kathy So many memories living next door for all those years. She will be missed so much.

Prayers to the family in this time. Worked with Kathy for twenty- five years at Fluor, and she was always a great co-worker and friend.

I´m so sad to hear of Kathy´s sudden passing. (My sons just lost their dad in Sept quite unexpectedly). My heart & prayers go out to you all, that you are comforted by the wonderful way she touched you. Having worked with both Kathy and Andy, I have fond memories of each. Kathy was indeed a jewel. When I was reminded that her maiden name was "Callahan", I smiled remembering Andy calling her that. May memories of your time with her always make you smile, too.

Kathy was like a second mom to me. Growing up in the hood Erin, Kim and I were always hanging out and getting into trouble. Kathy recently told me that she was always worried that I would teach Erin bad habits due to having older brothers. Little did she know that Erin was the one always getting us into trouble. She was a wonderful person and I will cherish the memories that I have of all of growing up together.
