Well Kathy I can´t believe it´s been a year now since you left us. I miss you I miss calling and talking to you, and giving each other crap about the Cowboys and 49´s. I´m sure you´re seeing all of our family up there. We all miss you

I am Kathy's youngest sister Lisa. I have many memories of course. We use to grab a sears catalog and sit next to each other. I get one side of the book, she got the other. We would go through the catalog and pick out our furniture. Bathroom, anything that remotely would be yours as you've grown up and moved out. I enjoyed those times, and never forgot that. She always got up and dressed up. She was always looking like a 10. When you were troubled, she took her time, to speak from her heart. She had the best words. I am glad I got to tell her these things and many more, throughout her life. I will miss talking, texting and seeing her when I could. R.I.P. my dear sister. I love you.

Paying tribute to my sister in law and friend is not an easy thing. I met Kathy in 1970 and became a friend , 31 years later she married my brother,Bobby and became family. Our family was truly blessed. Kathy was kind, generous ,outgoing , positive and fun. Her laugh was infectious!
Her family and friends were so important to her. She spent much of her time building relationships with all. Her grandchildren and great grand daughter were her joy.
I will miss so many thing about Kathy. Our times together we´re so special.
She was,"Simply the Best...Better than all the Rest"

Kathy for 55 years was one of my best friends. I knew her before James. She always showed up when I needed a friend. I will always keep her in my heart and will be lonely until we meet again.

I remember when cousin Joe and I went over to Aunt Kathy's apartment to see her. I was visiting Alaska from Montana and was about 13 or so. Aunt Kathy wasn't home but Joe had a key. So, we waited and eventually hatched a dastardly plan of messing with her. Seeing a black ski mask sitting next to some gloves and boots next to the door. We waited until she came pulling up. Joe waited in her closet while I swung the door open. Ski mask on, her TV in my hands. She was still in her car while we stared at one another for some time. I sat her tv down and ran out her back sliding glass door arms flaring around in as much of a comical way as I could. As I stood around the opposite corner of the building waiting for her to go inside. Laughing in a scared kind of way and thinking that "I'm glad Aunt Kathy wasn't packing. Otherwise this joke could've went sideways real fast." I turned my head, ski mask still on. To see her neighbor who was doing the dishes. Just inches away from the window wide eyed and looking at me with shock. I quickly removed the ski mask (she seen I was just a kid and now is looking at me more frustrated than scared) I said, "I'm just playing a joke on my Aunt." Her- "Who is your Aunt?!?" Me- "Kathy Anderson.... Maybe Evans. My name is Robert Nichols." She just looked at me even more frustrated and said, "Seems like kind of a stupid joke." (I won't use the exact verbiage she used but you get my point) So I raced over to her place she was a little ticked off for awhile (guess Joe did jump out and scare her) Later in life it was always kind of a funny experience to remember with her.
Anyways, We love and miss you Aunt Kathy. I'm glad cellphones weren't for us poors back then and you didn't have the Ol' Smith & Wesson hand cannon in the glove box.

Kathy was a childhood friend. I have many many fond memories our times together. Plus Kathy thank you for sneaking me in to see your mom in Seattle. Right before James got there. James, Lisa I´m so glad we shared a dinner that night. I love you. John I love you too.
RIP Kathy you will be missed by many.
