Kathy Parker Obituary
Coats, NC: Mrs. Kathy Earlene Parker, age 62, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023. Graveside Funeral Services will be 2:00PM-Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Erwin Memorial Park in Erwin, NC. Pastor Chuck Jones will officiate.
Kathy grew up a farm girl in Missouri on the family farm. She was a hardworking woman, loved her family, and was helpful to anyone that asked her for help. Her family was everything to her. She loved her grandchildren to the moon, and talked with them anytime they called her. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Sheppard, and sisters, Tina Blair and Paula McCleary.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Parker, Jr., of Coats; mother, Ethel Sheppard; daughter, Amanda Lynn Burke both of Missouri; step-sons, Elijah Parker and Brandon Parker; grandchildren, Xavier, Zander, and Makennah; brothers, Ted and Toby Sheppard; and a sister, Becky Sheppard; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:30PM-1:30PM-Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC, and other times at the home of Phillip and Pam Poole 429 Cade Stephenson Lane, Erwin, NC 28339.
