To the Sherman family,
My heart aches knowing our friend and sister in Christ has left; yet, my heart is also rejoicing knowing Kathy has made her final destination and homecoming to Heaven. I can just see her now dancing and rejoicing with our heavenly Father.

My Deepest Sympathies to Kathy's Family.
Kathy was one of the kindest human beings I ever met. I have known Kathy since the early sixties; I always knew Kathy would be an inspiration to many.
Everyone who knew Kathy, knew that she loved God so much, and she loved her friends and family. She will be missed dearly.
(Irish Belssing)
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Love You Kath!

I will miss my best friend of 24 faithful years. Sooo many hilarious times together. Kathy could make anyone laugh with just who she was. When tired, her words came out backwards & inside out. We would laugh for hours. I will surely miss my best friend, I will see her on the other side and she beat all of us. And she is with her mom and daughter at peace and out of physical pain.

Reggie and Lisa...I will miss Kathy's laugh and smile at work. I will miss her prayers and bits of biblical wisdom. I will miss the light she brought to our organization. I know how sad you are, and how much you will miss her. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Kathy, I am still trying to wrap my mind around the thought that you won't be coming in the door to greet me in the mornings. This past week, we all have shared many hugs, tears and fond memories that we all had here at the office. I will always remeber your 3pm coffee cravings which resulted in you bringing in the espresso machine just so you could teach me how to create the perfect foam. You were always a good teacher and the 3 pm lattes soon became our daily front office tradition and I will miss the giggles (and my shakes) that would always come after adding too many shots of espresso. We had so many fun times and when times did get tough, you would always help steer me through the fog back into safer waters. I am forever grateful to have spent the past 5 years with you by my side at HOH. You have taught me so much over the years and I will miss you being a part of my mornings, and my life.

Lisa and family, I was very saddened to hear of the loss of your mother. Though I never met your mom it sounds as if she was a beautiful, giving person inside and out. Please remember all the good times you had with her and take solace that she is at peace now in Gods embrace. My family and I send our deepest condolences.

To Kathy's family:
I was Kathy's neighbor. I will miss as she collected her mail each day. She remembered me as her teacher at Zoe Barnum High School. I knew she was ill. May her faith and yours guide your through this difficult time. Barbara Slade

Kathy,
You will be missed here at Hospice. My favorite memory of you is when we went to HSU and saw "The Blind Boys of Alabama" perform in concert. It was great to see you up clapping, dancing and singing their songs.
Rest in Peace but don't ever stop singing............
