Thank you, GM, for teaching me three important lessons in life.
1. Don't be a bad loser. GM taught me how to successfully play Chinese Checkers, and if I lost, how to do so without tears.
2. Know how to make strawberry fluff jello. It will be an easy go-to dessert that family and friends will love.
3. Love your children unconditionally. GM put Grandaddy Ron on the highest pedestal, and he did the same for her.
Thank you, GM, my great-grandmother and great-great grandmother to my son, Camden, for helping me pass on your legacy to my son. He will win or lose with character, while eating strawberry fluff jello, fittingly at his mama's house.
Xoxo

Mrs Saylor was my 5th grade teacher at Loyall... We all loved her... As kids growing up in Loyall we (all) lived "Mayberry" because of her and others in the community who cared about us. Loyall was/ is a wonderful place for a kid to grow up because of Mrs. Saylor and others like her. The attached photo of Mrs. Saylor has always been one of my treasures. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.... jimmy

Mrs. Saylor was my fifth grade teacher. Everyday she brought little cookies that we could purchase (2 for a nickle) to go with our milk (3 cents!) for a morning snack. I also remember her reading the Sugar Creek Gang books to us aloud after lunch and learning conversational French. She was a wonderful teacher.
