Katy Billie Obituary
Katy was vibrant and effervescent. She was Intellectual, wicked funny, and compassionate to a fault. Katy made everyone around her feel listened to and heard, and she was always willing to talk to anybody.
Katy was a loving and devoted mother and wife, she valued adventures with her daughter Ava Grace collecting shells, walking their cat, biking, swimming, painting, and climbing trees. As a lover of nature, enjoyed hiking, camping, and skiing with her husband Mark Billie.
Katy was an avid runner, reader, and writer.
Katy collected and exhibited the many drawings and small gifts made by Ava Grace and loved reading to Ava and listening to Ava read. Ava was the love of Katy's life. Katy displayed and arranged examples of art created by her mother and Ava Grace. Her home reflected Katy's love of unique collectibles and meaningful objects including many plants, art by Ava Grace and her mother, Cindy Worcester, and "always" an elliptical machine.

I knew Katy quite a few years. We had a friendship that sprung out of the most unexpected of places. I am glad to have known her. She is one like no other, one of a kind spirit that can find good in anything. We shared many things in common like running, working out at the gym, our kids, and taking them to do fun things. I enjoyed our talks and am a happy to have had her friendship. No matter what may have happened with us, I was always hoping and praying for her and Ava. I am so very sorry for your loss Cindy and family, and of course Ava Grace. She will remains in our hearts, and I pray she is at peace.

Katie, it seems just a short time ago you and Billy were playing Marco Polo in the pool. Then there was the 3 Stooges TV marathon every News Years Eve. You both just had to stay up all night to watch it. I doubt you were awake long after midnight. Katie, there for awhile Bill and I considered you a part of our family.
Then you grew up and we hardly saw you. I loved it when I ran into you in town. I missed you. I'm thankful I could somewhat keep track of you with Facebook. Katie, I hope you knew how much I loved you.

A beautiful friend who's irreplaceable and will forever be etched in my heart. Countless memories of her being the one who made everyone feel ok, especially myself. She inspired me to be better and no one had my back more these last several years She brought out a better version of myself. My favorite memories of Katy were cooking, gardening, and reading her writings. They'll never be another Katy-Jayne.
My heart goes out to Mark, Ava, Cindy, and family. They'll never be another soul like hers. I've never appreciated knowing someone more.
