Katy Siron Rock

Katy Siron Rock, age 86, died in her home in Denver, Colorado on April 23, 2025. She was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she grew up with her brother Alvin Hoffmann. She was a graduate of Central High School, Tulsa Oklahoma. She went on to earn a Baccalaureate Degree in Family Relations and Child Development from Oklahoma State University. Katy moved to Denver at the age of 22 with some college friends. They came to Denver for teaching positions.

Katy worked for Denver Public Schools as an elementary school teacher. She met Eugene (Gene) Rock and they married in 1965.

Katy was an avid golfer and traveler and enjoyed reading, movies, gardening and genealogy. She dedicated many years to her involvement in an investment club. Maui was her and Gene's second home.

She is survived by her five daughters; Lisa (Mitch) Page, Linda (Scott) Rock-Kreutz, Lori (Jeff) Radcliffe, Lee (Jacob) Cook and Lana (Edward) von Tersch. Katy also had nine grandchildren; Collin, Haley, Katy, Siron, Emily, Riley, Bella, Neva, and Thomas. She is also survived by her cousin Susan P. Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Rock, parents, and brother Alvin Hoffmann.

Funeral services will held on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 11:00 am at Horan & McConaty located at 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. Denver, CO 80246. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Parkinson Disease Association, PO Box 61420 Staten Island, NY 10306.
