Kay Lynn Crippen (Treadwell) passed away peacefully on September 2, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 77. Born on September 10, 1946, in Lubbock, Texas, she was a cherished member of the Mineral Wells Texas community and a graduate of Monterey High School in Lubbock.

Kay Lynn is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Frank Crippen, and their loving children: son Bud Crippen and his wife Tammy, and daughter Candy Crippen Wolcott and her husband Brian. She was a proud grandmother to Ashley Keenan, Tiffany Crippen, Alexandria Monroe Payne, Brandon Monroe, Chandler Crippen, Bryson Crippen, and Ansley Crippen. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Koy, Dahlia Kay, Dean, Caroline, and August. Her brother, C.A. Treadwell, and his wife Bernie also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her son Brice Crippen and her parents, Clarence and Reba Treadwell.

A memorial service will be announced soon, providing an opportunity for friends and family to celebrate her life and legacy.
