I prayed that Kayla and I would be a match for a kidney transplant. We weren't, but we'd decided to try paired-kidney donation. I was so sad to hear the news today from my UNC Transplant Coordinator about Kayla's passing. Met her and Ryan just last February. Such a lovely couple! My prayers are with all of you. I didn't know Kayla personally, but from listening to her Aunt Debbie, I know that she was a wonderful person. God has His newest Angel and Kayla has her crown of Glory. My deepest condolences to the family, and may God continue to bless you always.
