Dearest baby Kayla, you stole a piece of my soul the morning you died. Never in my life have I felt such intense and overwhelming grief. You taught me so much and made me so proud to be your Uncle. I will always remember your fearless determination, your "rubber" hands, and your devotion to fairness.

Dear Kayla,
You will be missed very much! I will forever hang on to the great memories of you in Child Development and Catering classes. I have used your power point for Power of Me many times as examples for the class. I will continue to use your power point as a memorial for years to come. Rest in peace dear one. Taken so soon and way to early. The time here on earth was powerful and profound! My heart aches for your family. Peace-POK

Clint, Liz, Andy, Carol, Deak and the Flinchpaugh Family, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this tragic time.
Kayla was such a fun and loving spirit - she will be missed by everyone she ever came in contact with. I will miss her bright eyes and loving spirit and special presence.
She touched me in many ways over the time I was blessed to know her and be embraced and loved by her. Truly an exceptional young woman has left this space we share.
My deepest condolences for every one who is hurting during this tragedy. May we all find some peace in knowing she was loved by so many people.
Rest in peace Miss Kayla. Loved you very much, Dawn Joy Miller

Rest in peace Kayla, you will be missed!
"What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget"
