Keegan George Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 16, 2025.
Keegan James Alan George, 30, of Fargo, North Dakota, passed away on June 20, 2024.

Born on April 21, 1994, in Yakima, Washington, Keegan was the eldest of his siblings, bringing joy and laughter to countless lives with his quick wit, sarcasm, and infectious sense of humor.

As a child in Yakima, Keegan was an adventurous spirit, often found exploring the outdoors, rough housing and playing video games with his siblings and friends. He played Little League baseball and enjoyed collecting baseball, football, and Pokémon cards, especially of his favorite athlete, Peyton Manning. These early passions, combined with his deep love for family, shaped the caring and enthusiastic person he would become.

As a teen Keegan had moved with his mother to Vancouver, Wa. Here he had a knack for turning ordinary days into exciting experiences, leading his siblings on adventures through the parks and trails. These treasured outings reflected his natural creativity and love for making memories with those he cared about.

Keegan was gifted with a talent for impressions, a skill that never failed to amaze and entertain those around him. His very first impression, Louis Armstrong singing What a Wonderful World, became a family favorite and a staple of his comedic charm. He also taught himself to play the acoustic guitar, showcasing his creativity and determination. He would often serenade his brother and sister with songs like "Stairway to Heaven" and "Hotel California", creating cherished memories filled with music and laughter.

His later years were enriched by his passion for video games, movies, and music. Keegan had a knack for analyzing films and loved sharing his favorite classic rock tunes with those close to him. His unmatched sense of humor often mirrored the antics of Andy Kaufman and Mitch Hedberg, bringing laughter and lightheartedness wherever he went.

In Fargo, Keegan built a life he cherished. He worked at Kroll's Diner, where he was known for his warm demeanor and strong work ethic, and later worked at Shaggy's Dog Wash, a role that highlighted his love for animals and his dedication to his community.

Keegan will be remembered for the joy he brought, the laughter he shared, and the love he spread to everyone he met. Though his time on earth was too short, his legacy of kindness, humor, and entertainment will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving mother, Melonie, and his siblings, Riley, Mattea, Cameron, and Jaden, who will forever hold his memory close. He was preceded in death by his father, Chad Sears, with whom he will now rest.

A celebration of Keegan's life will be held following his inurnment with his father. Dates and arrangements will be shared with family and friends in the near future.
