Keith Roy Chrismon

Keith Roy Chrismon, 68, of Bandon, OR passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

Keith was born November 5, 1956 in Miami, Oklahoma to parents Bill and Jonne Chrismon (Morrison). He attended Miami High School, and graduated with the class of 1975. After high school, Keith attended NEO A&M college in Miami, OK and The University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK.

Keith enjoyed acting, singing and playing guitar. He took great pride in his Cherokee heritage, and in being a father and grandfather. Keith was known for his big personality. He loved life on the stage, and in the spotlight. His most recent work included starring in Baby Tooth, a 2024 short directed by Dakota Boucher.

Keith is survived by his children: son, Brian Chrismon of River falls, WI; stepdaughter, Kelsey Weinberg and husband, Michael, of Winter Park, FL; daughter, Alli Blankenship and husband, Garrett, of Skiatook, OK; and daughter Caitie Vegas and husband, Victor, of Lewisburg, PA; grandchildren, Brynn Weinberg, Jillian Blankenship, and Valen Vegas; as well as his brothers: Phillip Chrismon and wife, Kathy, of Miami, OK, and Brad Chrismon and wife, Lynn, of Bothell, WA, as well as a host of other friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy Gene Chrismon and Frances Jonne Chrismon (Morrison) of Miami, OK; Brother, Kent Chrismon of Miami, OK; and Grandson, Gabriel Blankenship of Skiatook, OK.

In accordance with his wishes, his children will hold a private celebration of life, and will spread his ashes at a later date.

Cremation services were handled by Amling-Schroeder Funeral Service in Bandon, Oregon.
