Keith Durand Obituary
Born Dec. 31, 1951, the son of Conrad and Mary (May) Durand, he graduated from Springfield High School in 1969.
He was employed at many places, including Idlenot Dairy and Wiggins Block Plant, but spent most of his work career at General Electric in Rutland.
Mr. Durand enjoyed hunting, fishing, Harleys, carving, and was known for his generosity.
Survivors include two daughters, Olga Carey and Stacia Cheney; three grandchildren; his mother; his brother, Wayne Durand; many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father.
Per his request, his ashes will be spread at a later date.

I never imagined the time would come where I would be jotting a note regarding the passing of my dad....he was an amazing man who lived life the way it should be lived!! Our father was a true family man and family was not just blood, family was a bond. Our dad would make sure to always have time with those that he loved and was a true presenece, this is where it gets tough, to imagine a day without him is impossible....it has been two weeks and feels like forever. My heart breaks with the reality of this and I love and miss him with all of my heart!

Keith was my second father. He lived with me and my dad for a couple years. I'll never forget that laugh of his, and the stories he would tell over and over again. He was a big part in my and my fathers life and he will be missed very much. My condolences to olga and stacia.
