In memory of
Wilhelm Coq
October 22, 2021
I was just thinking about him today and decided to see if I could find him on social media. It is heart breaking to know that he has been long gone for all these years without me even knowing. I guess to be fair I have not lived in NJ let alone willingboro for almost 20 years now. He was such an amazingly kind person and honestly the fact that he put up with me the way he did when I was a silly insecure child further belabors the kind and positive should he was. I am greatly saddened. My condolences go out to his family.

I remember Dr.Ellerbe or back in the day he was just Mr.Ellerbe ,I first met him when I was going to Willingboro H.S back in 1999. He was always hanging with one of my other teachers Mr. Shippin. Mr. Ellerbe was always cool and energetic laughing at times underneath his breath about things in a funny way. He was always cool with us students and would listen to anyone that wanted to talk to him. He will be missed . I left graduated from Willingboro about 17 years ago. I cant remember all of my teachers, but even though I never had a glass with him he was a Teacher that I will always remember. R.I.P Dr. Ellerbe

We are still in shock. When we heard the news of Keith's passing we were certain the information was false. We were wrong and our hearts are still heavy. My family and I have very fond memories of Keith. He was kind, funny, and a great actor. We will never forget the play we worked on together at LHCC. He was grounded in the Word and loved God with all of his heart. He saw the best in every situation. To the Ellerbe and Ward family we share in your pain and rejoice with you in the knowledge that he is in the loving arms of the great I AM. We are keeping you in thoughtful prayer,

Such beautiful tributes to a great man which the Lord created. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ellerbe under unusual circumstances a few years back. We had a car accident in which I hit his car. He remained calm, and unmoved at the time. He assured me that everything was going to be alright, and it was. I can't speak from a student or colleague perspective, but from the perspective of one human to another, he was pleasant and kind. May his family find comfort in their memories of their times together and know that the God of peace will comfort each of you if your turn to him.

Keith Ellerbe lived his life using his gifts. He had compassion and a will to help. He also had the best sense of humor and was a phenomenal storyteller. He often began his days making others smile and ended them the same way. He cared about all of his kids the ones he had in the past and the ones in the present at every school he had graced as either a teacher or administrator. He was clearly proud of his children and grandchildren. He made a difference in many lives and that is his legacy. He was an inspiration and will be truly missed by those of us who were lucky to call him friend and colleague. I was blessed by God for putting him in my life as a friend, colleague, principal, and mentor.
