What a sad day it was when I heard you had passed. First I would like to express my condolences to Keith's family and all his friends. I met Keith when he played guitar for Dwight Yoakam. Such a great guy who was always so friendly to the fans. I'll never forget the evening you signed my guitar. I look at it nearly everyday as I have it hanging in my gameroom. I will always cherish it and the little conversation and hug we shared that night. Fly high Keith, you are so missed.

My sincere condolences to family and friends. I met Keith when he first moved to Nashville. He´d come In Gabes Lounge where I was fronting the band and playing bass. He would sit in and blew everyone away. We´d hang some and play golf every now and then. After years of not seeing each other I went to see him at the Family Wash about 6 years ago with my son and my son in law who idolized Keith. After the show Keith made it a point to come out and visit on the patio. We talked about the old days and old friends. He was still the same nice kid I knew from the early 90´s. I´m heartbroken as so many are but very glad I got to see him. Wish it wasn´t the last time.

May your memories give you peace and comfort of your loved one. Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for the loss of your loved one. May GOD be with you all during this difficult time. 1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus.

Would hear those artists sing his songs on the radio when I listened to a classic country music program when I lived in Maine.

Dammit Gattis! This was not how it was supposed to end. I guess God had other plans. You´ve been an inspiration to me, your total dedication to your profound talent, while staying as real as it gets, made you unique. I´ll never forget our battles to sneak a bit more twang into country music. Blessings to your wife and children, may they always be comforted knowing you watch over them...
