Keith Maxon Obituary
Keith was known for his humor and sociability. He was an avid golfer, bowler, and a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, sharing many joyful moments with friends and family through these interests.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his wife, Donna (Morschhauser) Maxon; daughters, Heather Slocum (husband David) and Kelly Hallmark (partner Jason Smith); and sister, Vaughn Whitney. Keith was a proud grandfather to Katelyn Turri, Derik Widomski, Tanner Widomski, Nathan Maxon, Aiden Hallmark, Michael Nazario, and Alexis Nazario, and a great-grandfather to Rollins Turri, Marshall Turri, and Nico Maxon. He also leaves behind his best friend, Hal Morgan. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Dale Maxon; sister, Linda Shearer and daughter, Kimberly Maxon.
A celebration of Keith's life is scheduled to take place in Erie, PA in July 2026. Further details will be announced as they become available.

The first time I met Keith, I said to Wendy" Jesus that is one big thick man" lol. Found out just how funny, gentle and kind he was . Especially to us. I was extremely fond of Keith. Loved playing trivia with him as he was a book of knowledge. We just loved Keith. RIP my friend. Will see you in Valhalla.

Dad-
I can't believe you aren't here with us anymore. You are my most favorite person, you know that because I told you a million times. You are my best friend, my buddy, the person I called five, six, seven times a day sometimes. You are the only person who knows every single thing about me. I miss you so much already.
Life is going to be so different. Don't you worry though-me, Donna , Kelly and the rest of our family will stay good. We will never let you down and will make every decision based on what you would do. I love you so much. I'm glad you found peace dad. I'm sorry you had to go through all this crap the past 6 months. You are and always will be our hero. We will honor you forever. Love you- Heather
