Coach K, if I knew the last time I was going to see you was at the Lincoln vs. JOC basketball game I wouldve told you more about how much of a positive impact you were to me. I was at JOC for one semester but being a student under you was one of the best things to happen to me. You always pushed me to my limits physically and always believed in me. You taught me not only academically, but also about life. Youre presence in the classroom was unmatched and you matched my energy completely. A teacher I will never forget and I will always look back on the time I got to share with you. Mr. Wong and I will always talk about how great you were. Love you Coach K.

Keith's bright spirit touched so many lives in positive ways...we are comforted in knowing that his legacy lives on in his sons, the students he inspired, and his wife Karen's loving heart. We feel fortunate to have known him, although too briefly. Our prayers are with his family today and always.

Coach Keith Norman was an inspiring teacher and mentor to all his students and anyone he met! You were a kind soul, dedicated, positive and encouraging guiding light to your students. I loved being your PE student, basketball and badminton player on or off the court!! I was your first badminton student, and you were my first badminton coach who didnt actually play badminton! Yet your dedication to learn and being a motivating mentor to me did not make you a bit less qualified. Thank you for the positive impact youve made in my life, and in many others life. You are missed greatly! Rest In Peace and Light... God bless you and yours!!!

Coach K. Thanks for always believing, believing in every kid that walked through those doors of ISA. You were more than just a P.E. teacher, you were a role model, a parent when we needed one, and most of a listening ear. Thank you for believing in me. To your family, my prayers are with you always.

My childhood friend that would visit from California every summer to spend time with his grandparents in Lakeland, FL. Although we never met each other as adults, I will always cherish the times we spent climbing trees, going to Simpson Park, going to water parks and just hanging outside until the street lights came on. Who knew that we both end up as educators and raise two boys.God Bless his family as they prepare to journey without him.

As the father of a student who was a member of Coach Ks girls bb team at JOC, 2017, I will say, without pause, that Coach K was an incredibly gifted man with an uncanny ability to instill confidence, inspiration and love to every girl on the team. Knowing our daughters were being guided, mentored and protected by Coach is the greatest act of humility a human being can bestow. Thank you Keith, one of a kind

A forever role model. I love you big cousin. Thank you for ALWAYS leading by example. Since I was young, I have always admired your drive, tenacity, and value for education. You are one of the reasons why I went into teaching. I pursued higher education like you did, I went into education like you did, and I even ended up having twins like you did. I'm sad you're no longer here with us, but I know that we have all gained a strong and mighty angel. Until we meet again.

Coach K took notice of me as a quiet closed off student and pushed me to come out of my shell and encouraged me as a mentor even though I wasnt into sports. He always made it a point to greet me in the hallways at ISA and even let me be our school basketball journalist knowing I didnt know a thing about basketball. He was always trying to include and encourage me to reach my highest potential. Though we hadnt spoken in years, his presence in my life was an important part of my high school experience and will never be forgotten. I am so grateful.
