Keith Sanger

Keith Tristan Sanger (February 2, 1956 - November 9, 2024) died peacefully, in his sleep at the Good Samaritan Village in Denton, TX. A life-long Dallas resident, Keith is survived by his sister, Carol Sanger, and his daughter and son-in-law, Rabbi Stephanie and Andrew Max. He was predeceased by his parents, Berthold Hugo Sanger, Jr. and Mary Julia Sanger (neé Tristan), know to their friends as Bud and Nena. Keith worked in sales for much of his life, spending some time in the men's clothing business alongside his father, and later as a manager for Men's Warehouse. Keith became a massage therapist and worked in that field for almost 25 years. He loved animals and never met a dog he didn't like, or that didn't like him. Keith graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1974, where he was a member of the cheerleading team, and also was an active participant in BBYO AZA. While Keith was fighting Leukemia for the last few months of his life, he spent his last days speaking with friends, enjoying a nice visit with his sister, looking forward to a visit with his daughter and son-in-law, and excited about becoming a grandfather. Plans are being made for a celebration of Keith's life and will be shared at a later date. Donations in honor of Keith can be made to the Grey Muzzle Organization.
