There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you. I miss you! We had fun growing up in Sherwood Park and I remember the events like my 20 year grad reunion when you were my date, our trip to Vancouver in 1986 when you teased me about seeing all of the bathrooms at Expo (I was expecting with Mark)and just always knowing I had a dance partner if you were around. You once gave me advice and told me to never forget where I came from and that advice always stuck with me. I have become a happier person because of it. I love you Kelly Belly. From your big sis, Ruby

Death can be a time of bonding, instead of a time of separation. A time for sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, aunts, uncles and cousins to bond and hold
together. A circle of caring and love in which to release that person on their own destiny. A
time for each one to acknowledge and feel their feelings of grief, pain, sorrow, hurt, anger, or regret, but then to be able to express those feelings and release them, so that only love and caring remain.
In this way the soul that has left this place can move on freely without any strings attached.
The love you hold for Kelly will sustain him in his journey, thank god for him, and let him now be free.
Kahlil Gibran in the prophet wrote:
"Life and death are one, as the river and sea are one; for what is it to die but stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun? And what is it to cease breathing but to free the breath from its restless tides that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?
Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountaintop, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance."
DANCE KELLY, Dance and Smile.

Kelly you truly will be missed!! I was saddened to hear of your passing. I have such fond memories of you growing up in Sherwood Park. The mornings we spent hanging out at the pool before going to school. You, Chris, Henry, Sandy and I. Such good times those were! Rest in peace my dear friend!

I remember Kelly as this fun loving hockey player who ran the Boston Pizza team in our league for many years. He had a kind heart and was always a gentlemen around me. It is such a great loss to his family & friends that Kelly was taken far too soon. I will remember his love of life and the love he had for his wife Kelly. I hope your daughter will remember what a wonderful man he was and what a kind person he was to everyone he met. May you rest in peace Kelly and I know you will be organizing a hockey team in heaven. Your friends Al & Jo-Anne (Oil City Hockey)

Kelly was one of my best friends, I will always remember the great times we had playing hockey together. And the amazing times we had on several ski trips and the time Kelly and I went to LA to see the Rolling Stones. Some of my fondest memories.
I will miss Kelly.
