Kelly Lynn Porter

Horacio, family and friends,
I am so sorry for this tragic loss. I met Kelly very briefly during the end of our group travels in Mexico City February 2023. It was an honor to meet and experience what a wonderful human she was and bringing positive energy and humor to everyone that she met. Lots of love and strength to all of you. Mary-Beth

Kelly was at my wedding and I will always remember her kindness and encouragement. She made my wife feel welcome to the family.

I'm Britt's mom, and knew Kelly through her. I know lots of Kelly stories (all wonderful and fun) but when I thought back, I realized I had only been with her in person a few times. It seemed like more, since all the memories were happy and memorable ones. I love humor, and Kelly always brought that. Such joy came through her, along with intelligence. My heart goes out to all those who love her. They can be assured the bright light of Kelly lives on in wonderful memories. Take extra care of yourselves during this extraordinarily difficult time.

I first saw Kelly as a darling little red-haired toddler, then did not see her again until she had grown into the delightful and talented young lady we all knew. How sad that her beautiful life was cut short by a tragic accident, but she will live on through the memories of her friends and loved ones.

So sorry to hear of Kelly´s passing. What a kind soul. Only knew her for a short time, but was glad to call her a friend.

I didn´t know Kelly but I heard about her passing thru James Holeman. I´m very sorry.

I have so many, I don't know which one to pick. From sleepovers, to sneaking around, to singing together, to crying together...and most of all laughing together. She was one of my best friends. I will never forget her and how she shaped my life. I will miss her dearly, but I know I will see her again and we will laugh again together. Love you, my friend. Until we meet again.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Lynn and family. Kelly was such a sweet girl and has accomplished so much in her short lifetime. How could she not be amazing with a dad like you and an awesome mom like Barbara.

Kelly was always so nice to me. I remember all of our years working together and the after work parties with her and friends. She will be greatly missed.

I met Kelly when we were both just out of high school. I will never forget her chicken enchiladas and how she would always have one bite of chocolate after dinner. I will always remember the fits of laughter she Stacey and I would have. I admired her energy and zest for life. Sending all her knew her peace and healing.

Kelly was always so nice to everyone. She was super bubbly and fun to be around. She was snarky and made me laugh. She was super talented and I had the pleasure to be in Madrigals and the plays with her.

As a cousin many miles away, I only knew Kelly through stories from other family members and friends. Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

There are no words to express this untimely loss of such a beautiful human being. I just realized we share the exact same birthday. Her beautiful smile along with her amazing children are a legacy for those who remain. Rest in peace Sweet soul. Till all of us meet again...
