I thought that Ken was the most handsome man I had ever met when I worked at Ernie's and Vera's when I was in grammar school in the early 50's. Vera taught me how to clean house and how to work in the garden. I loved that job, starting when I was in the 6th grade, making 25 cents per hour. Ken was seldom home but when he was, he was always kind and polite and respectful. I'm so sorry that he has left this earth so soon. My live to Vi and his family.

I am so sorry to hear of Ken's passing. The entire Lederer family was a big part of my teen growing up years in Willows...so welcoming to us in the First Christian church when we first moved there. I have nothing but warm affectionate memories of both Ken and Vi, family dinners, church potlucks and always Ken's big good natured teasing grin. My heart goes out to the family during this time.

I am so very sorry to hear that ken has passed. As one of the Wal-mart "coffee guys" I always enjoyed his big smile! He always seemed as he enjoyed seeing me..or at least teasing me a little! He will be missed!

We have known Ken and Vi since we moved to Willows in l977. They were considered by us to be some of our best friends. Ken was always there for us whenever we needed help around the house and also drove my husband to Chico for some of his cancer treatments. He will be missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know him. Sandy and Rick Hall

VI and Judy, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's hard to let go of our loved ones. Find comfort knowing this earthly body was temporary. Ken is having coffee with my dad and all those who left before him. We'll hopefully be seeing them soon. No more pain.

It has been a joy getting to know Ken and family. He is greatly missed already, but we have an eternal hope that it will only be a short separation until we see him once again.
