Kennes Campbell Hensley, age 61, passed away at his home in Longview, Texas on Friday, August 1, 2014. He was born on November 4, 1952 in Harlan, Kentucky to Harrison and Myrtle (Hobbs) Hensley. Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 pm, Monday, August 4, 2014 at Meadowbrook Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Story officiating. Kennes is survived by his children, Julie Cannon and her husband, William; Renae Sanford; and Kennes Hensley and his wife, Lara. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Travis Hensley, Tyler Ferguson and his wife, Cassie; Tabitha Cooper and her husband, Taylor; Clarissa Hensley; Tate Sanford and Juliana Hensley; his great-grandchildren, Ailyn Hensley Ferguson and Dovah K. C. Hensley and numerous other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and numerous other family members. Kennes was a devoted sports fan with a special love for the Spurs, the Texans and the Titans. He was a member of the Baptist faith and worked many years as a machinist in the oil field industry. Kennes will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
