Kenneth B Belanger

Kenneth B. Belanger, 69, of Gloucester, MA, passed away on February 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his daughters, Shannon Belanger of Lowell, MA, and Shayla Belanger Rotella of Dunstable, MA, as well as the mother of his children, Susan Ward Belanger of Hudson, NH and his grandchildren, Ryker Kazanjian and River Rotella. Ken was also a beloved brother to Dale Bartolucci (John) of Ledyard, CT, Diane Parris (Louie ) of Groton, CT and Marilou Clayton (Rex) of Branford, CT. He is also remembered by his nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Ken was predeceased by his parents Lucille Levasseur Belanger and Herbert Belanger.

Ken graduated from Robert E. Fitch High School in Groton, CT, and earned a degree from the University of Massachusetts. He served on the Marine Helicopter Squadron One under Presidents Ford and Carter, achieving the rank of Sergeant. Ken had a successful career, holding the positions of Director of Global Component Engineering at Wang Labs, Inc., VP of Engineering and Operations at Expert Views, VP & GM of Content Division at Aspect Development, and Sr. VP of New Ventures and M&A at i2 Technology. He was also the owner of Informia, LLC and Cape Ann Home Services.

In his free time, Ken enjoyed cooking, traveling, live music, boating, carpentry and tinkering with electronics. He had a deep love for the ocean and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A prayer service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. in Greenman Chapel, Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic, CT, followed by internment. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Barn, 13 Fort Hill Road, Groton, CT immediately following cemetery services.
