Kenneth Karl Bock

Kenneth Karl Bock (Ken), 80 years old, of Elk Grove, California passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Kaiser South Sacramento Hospital. He was born in Astoria, Oregon on April 5, 1943 to Beverly and Karl Bock. Ken graduated from Grant High School in Portland, Oregon, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University and his Master's in Business at University California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. He married Mary Ann Inman on April 8, 1967. Ken and Mary Ann raised their family in Danville, California. Ken loved to cook, tell stories and travel the world with Mary Ann. He battled a severe neurological disease over the past 15+ years, it rapidly progressing over the last 6 years. Mary Ann was his wife, best friend, and full-time caregiver.

Ken is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, daughter, Joanna Bock and her husband Mike Hartig, sisters, Ellin Bock, Harriet Beck, Jenette Bock and Barbara Niemiec. He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Kenneth Bock and his parents Beverly and Karl Bock.

A small service with immediate family will be held at a later date in Astoria, Oregon. His ashes will be buried at Ocean View Cemetary in Warrenton, Oregon in the family plot with his son and parents.
